Summer of '22

Two months reconnecting with our motherland Lithuania

I immigrated to the United States in fall of 1999. To date I've lived longer in the US than I've lived in Lithuania - a true mutt of heritage and identity. In 2011 we opened our first Lithuanian office in Kaunas and since then I have been going back several times a year. 2022 is different in that the family and I spent over two months in Lithuania and stayed at our own place in old town of Vilnius. Ashton went to a Lithuanian school, ate a few metric tons of vanilla ice cream, and stayed up unapologetically late each evening (the days are incredibly long this time of year and the the sun sets at ~11PM). We spent our time surrounded by friends and family, traversing narrow streets of Vilnius, and spoiling ourselves with outdoor dining and fine wine. These are the pictures I took in the Summer of '22.
