Overlanding '24: Magestic Wyoming
I don't have a story for this trip. Took me half a year to finish processing the batch of images and I now realize this was one of the more challenging adventures. As I started planning the route in early spring of '24 I discovered that most of our stops in Wyoming were at much higher altitude. In fact, a few of my trails were getting hit by snow storms just weeks out from the trip, roads were getting closed for cleaning, camps were pushing out their season openings.
I kept sending the group weather forecast data heading into the trip, warning everyone that the trip may turn into a ski adventure. It didn't get as bad, but there were a few mean evenings. One of them made us bail on our crossing of the Beartooth Highway and we ended up camping with a few annoyed grizzlies, if the signs were to be believed.
Anyway, enjoy the kaleidoscope of majestic landscapes that can all be found in the great state of Wyoming, USA.
